Improve How You Move

The Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education is a way to learn more about yourself through movement. Whether you want to alleviate pain, perform better (in music, sports, dance, etc.), or simply improve how you move in daily life, the practice is something anyone can do—no matter your age or condition.

There are two ways to experience the Feldenkrais Method:

AWARENESS THROUGH MOVEMENT® CLASSES: ATM classes are guided experiences. We spend 45 minutes to an hour moving in some new and unusual ways. At the end of class, students often find they move with more ease and less pain.

FUNCTIONAL INTEGRATION®:  These one-on-one sessions take place on a massage table. You remain fully clothed and the teacher works with your body to help you sense your familiar patterns so you can release them and move in new ways.

The goal of both ATM and FI lessons is to get you to use more of yourself. As you drop old habits and find new ways of moving, you become more of who you really are—in body, mind, and spirit.
